However, I'm absolutely thrilled with the new fans Dragon Rising has gained--thank you all for your awesome comments. They're quite encouraging.
Hmm, creative writing. I've had several ideas floating about in my head, but I tend to get so caught up in the tide of life that by the time I have the opportunity to write, the passion is deflated. My problem is impatience: I'm so eager to get to the meat of the plot that I get frustrated with writing exposition-type stuff. So I guess I should just start scribbling out the faintest idea I have before I'm able to plunge deeper into it.
It's been a distressingly long time since I've written a complete story, and had the task of editing. With Dragon Rising, I have to be careful about prior editing, not only to adhere to canon, but so that I don't have to go back and change parts of chapters I've already posted. So, if I ever have to do that, bear with me. I'd be sure to let people know of the alterations, although I doubt they'd be anything major.
Ciao.
